Evaluation

Throughout this assignment I found that working with clay was fun to do making my models in my animation. I had to remake my models every week as my models kept getting destroyed, so I came up with a different story and different models and I done my animation on the day so that my models hadn’t got destroyed again, I made sure my models were in focus and ran smoothly throughout my animation.

Throughout the feedback on other people’s views, I found that I had no negative comments they were all positives, they all had similar comments to each other. I found that they liked my models I made and the choice of music and well organized.

I would like to talk and compare about another person’s animation of the group, as I was impressed with Katie’s animation it was organized and had humor in her animation also imaginative of her story.

When I seen other peoples I found that cut out animation looked much better to clay animation as cut outs look more effective and more focus because with clay you have to move your clay models and its awkward to cut outs. When it comes to making another animation I will use cut outs as this looks easier and you have more time to do your animation than clay.

Throughout my animation I could improve on having a better storyline and better focus, I found it was hard at times due to the camera angle.

I have improved many skills throughout this as I have improved my skills how to use the istopmotion and imovie.

MY ANIMATION

This is my animation i completed this on the deadline date, i worked very hard to complete this. in this animation i added sound the song of ' Baker Street ' i also added credits and endings.

with the overall of this animtion i am pleased and happy with this due to its my first ever animation i have made, to improve on this i could improve the camera angle and focus. due to this because it was awkward getting the camera at the right angle to record my models.

SCREENSHOT ON IMOVIE

Here is a screenshot of my animation movie in Imovie, i added credits to my animation, i used the colour yellow for the title of my animation because i thought this colour really stood out, this would attract viewers eye in reading this as its an iluminus colour to the attract of the humen eye. once i was happy with my credits and sound on the imovie i then saved it as a move export. i then posted my animation on my blog.

This is a image of most of my models. As you can see by looking at this image it makes you think my animation is based in a forest with the lake and wild life.

i worked and spent hard on making these models as i tried my best to get all my models up to a standard for when using them in my animation.

My Animation

For my animation i am going to make a model of a Squirrel, its going to be chasing an acorn ( this squirrel cherishes this acorn its his life) the squirrel makes its way chasing this acorn what wont stop as its going down hill but the squirrel ends into the danger trespass of the lake which lies a deadly feaslty fish what is talked about i the forrest and no one tresspassers but the squirrel wants his acorn that much that the squirrel doesnt take notice where he is and the fish appears and eats the acorn then the fish and Squirrel have a fight and the squirrel wins and wins back his acorn, the animation ends happily with him winning back his cherished acorn.

This is the main character of my animation, the clay model i made was a squirrell which is going to travell the forest chasing his acorn ending in a lake with wildlife and goes into danger of a dangerous species known as a fish monster.

MOODBOARD

This is my mood-board which is related to my animation, from doing research and producing my mood-board it has giving me many ideas, from the research it has giving me an idea of a squirrel chasing an acorn (basically this acorn is his live he cherishes this acorn) and tries to win it back by chasing threw the forest but on his way he enters dangour. i got this idea of the chasing acorn from ice age because in ice age there is a character of a squirrel all way threw in many part of the scenes trying to chase his acorn that it cherishes and doesn't want to let go of.

i have finished making my main character which is the squirrel, i also have finished making the fish monster what eats the squirrels acorn.
